Festival at Devonport School. Dani performed in the Kapa haka Māori group and the school choir
Twinkling in the winter sky just before dawn, Matariki signals the Māori New Year. For Māori, the appearance of Matariki heralds a time of remembrance, joy and peace. It is time for communities to come together and celebrate.
The first song is special to Devonport School
The school choir performed a few songs though it was a annoying as the sent some of the kids up to get their food rather than wait five minutes fort the choir to perform.
