Camping in the Coromandel

While cabin camping in the Coromandel we did a glass bottom boat tour to Cathedral Cove which is a famous beach and rock formation.

Cathedral Cove Beach.  You can park at the top and hike down to the beach which I think is the better and much cheaper free option.

Swimming under the boat. As far as fish not much to see though it is a marine reserve

A beach we stopped at on the way to Cathedral Cove

At the Top 10 Campground in Hot Water Beach everyday they had a kids camp that went from 9:00am- 12:00pm.  Dani really loved as a lot of activities and she met a lot of friends that she played with the rest of the day.

Some Korean friends

Some of the fancy cabins at the campground

We went out for a nice dinner in Mount Maunganui in the City of Tauranga.
IIt was the last stop on our 9 day trip and in hindsight we could have skipped it.  Was a long drive out of the way and really not much for us after being at the other beautiful beaches.  Over 9 days we stayed in three days in each camp ground. The lesson from the trip was stay longer in one place rather than going from place to place.

It was a good dinner though
