Around Wellington and Te Papa Museum

This is a combination of some older photos and newer ones around Wellington.

My university has four campuses in the city.  This is the school of architecture

The famous bucket fountain on Cuba Street

This is the Te Papa Museum which is on the waterfront.  It was renovated a couple of years ago and has a number of children's exhibits and play areas.  Its also free so lots of people go to spend the day

A World War One Exhibit or The Great War as they cal it here. New Zealand sent 100,000 soldiers to fight and they had a population of 1.5 million.  Very realistic exhibit and the first time we went to th museum we went and Dani had a bad experience and never wanted to go back to the museum again, We finally went with her friends a couple months later and now she likes it (but not the War exhibit)

With Liz and Thomas

A fun room where once you hit the button and then the room turns that color.  This kids were running back and forth.

A life size whales heart

This was a cake decorating exhibit taking place

The Wellington Train Station next to my office.  Most people commute from the suburbs into town on the train everyday.

Dinner by the water front. A nice day so everyone was outside.
