Aberdeen Park

We spent a Saturday at Aberdeen Park.  Dani had a new friend.  A little boy we met at the HK library last week.

This is an exercise course for people in wheel chairs.  Very creative!

A playground in the apartments down the hill from the park.  Very close to our house but we had never been here before.

Another one of the giant wild pigs

On the hill below the park is an area called Shek Pai Wan Estate.  A woman was telling that these are all subsidized government housing with the cheapest studio apartment renting for a little over $100 USD.

A lot of very old people live here and amazingly there are no elevators in the buildings which have up to 6 floors.   They will be knocking the buildings down at some time in the near future to put up new housing and the people will be relocated.
