Volvo Ocean Sailing Race

For the first time the Volvo Ocean Race made a stop in Hong Kong.  The boats were docked in Kai Tak which is the old Hong Kong Airport.

We went on a Sunday afternoon.  They had displays set up and some activities and concerts.  The lines for everything were very long so Dani spent most of the time doing a coloring activity.

These are replays of the sailing race around Hong Kong.  Two hours of racing but interesting to see what it was all about.

Afterwards we went to a big mall nearby called Megabox.  it looks like a big box.  It has an Ikea with a free play room where the kids go in for 30 minutes of supervised play.

This was a playroom in Megabox with different things projected on the floor.  If you stepped on them they scatter.  She had a good time playing on this for a awhile.
