Lamma December with DD

We went to Lamma Island three weekends in row.  Amazing in three years in HK had only gone once before this.  Very easy boat ride and great restaurants and a nice beach.  A lot of foreigners live on Lamma for the nice community, laid back and cheaper lifestyle.

This is the name of the village where we take the ferry

She met a friend on the ferry and we had lunch with him, the father, mother and grandmother

An actual record store on the island.  Dani had no idea what a record is.

A little cafe where we had breakfast.  She was watching Youtube videos. They have outdoor back patio seating on the water which is nice

On the 20 minute hike to the beach we stopped to watch a guy playing violin.

My friend DD who lives in China met us on Lamma with his girlfriend.  We met teaching together at RMIT in 2008.  We started at the same time and not sure if he lasted a year.   He then taught in Cambodia, Thailand the Philippines and now in China and is in between jobs again.  a good day maybe a 4.
